Pete Engel

BOARD CHAIR


Pete is a lead developer for several products at Crowe, LLP, a public accounting, consulting, and technology firm. Pete’s servant leadership qualities have been evident throughout his life, including his 9 years of service in the U.S. Navy, training submarine crews in tactical operations and as a scuba diver and sonar supervisor. Pete has been a leader with Bible Study Fellowship and care group ministries for several years. Pete fully trusts the leadership of R&R and he believes contributing to their efforts at fulfilling the vision brings glory to God and blesses those in need. Pete enjoys competing in 5K races, volunteering with Habitat for Humanity, coaching for Mishawaka Christian Athletic Club high school track team, and supporting, serving, and attending church. He has been joyfully married for more than 30 years. He and his wife enjoy spending time with their 6 children and 9 grandchildren.

Wayne Kampa

BOARD VICE CHAIR


Wayne has held accounting and managerial positions for over 40 years in the aluminum extrusion industry. He is currently employed as Production Manager at Bonnell Aluminum. He brings his expertise in accounting and management to support the functions of R&R’s Board. He gained his experience serving on several Board of Directors for churches he has attended throughout the years. Wayne has compassion for those in need and is quick to help in various aspects of their lives. His heart is to facilitate the growth and development of R&R’s faith-based component. He is passionate that R&R will show the love of God to all its clients and endeavor to create a family atmosphere in all its functions. Wayne enjoys spending time with his family, working in the yard, and collecting antique toys, radios, cameras and advertisements.

Diana Craig

BOARD SECRETARY


Diana is a certified Medical Laboratory Technician at the South Bend Medical Foundation.  She gained experience serving as Secretary and Treasurer on the Board of Directors at SouthGate Church. She offers countless number of volunteer hours serving in several church ministries for children, women, the homeless, those in foster care, and several others when needs arise. Diana’s passion to serve on the Board of Directors for R&R comes from having a servant’s heart, as well as providing guardianship to her adult sister with developmental disabilities. Diana understands first-hand the challenges that come with caring for a special needs adult. She knows the positive impact participation in community and family activities can have on improving behavioral function of those with developmental disabilities. Diana likes to travel with her husband, sew, cook, and spend time with her grandchildren.

Chasity Jewett

BOARD MEMBER


Chasity has 24 years of experience working with children in a variety of ways, including teaching, helping foster families, and volunteering. She was asked to serve on the board of R&R to provide valuable insight and direction to R&R’s services as an individual living with the need for adaptive support. She not only exemplifies great strength in overcoming personal barriers of Cerebral Palsy, she is passionately devoted to serving others. Her personal journey inspires her to invest in faith-based initiatives, believing that the first step in overcoming life’s obstacles is recognizing your inherent value and worth as a beloved child of God. Chasity is especially committed to spreading a message of hope and unconditional love through growing R&R’s foster care programs. Chasity enjoys travel and mission trips, spending time with her friends and family, and serving others in her community.
